Kreol TR launches BMB’s Petit Gourmet Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate at Cochin Duty Free

Kreol Travel Retail has launched BMB’s popular Petit Gourmet Pistachio Kunafa Chocolate at Cochin Duty Free, introducing travelers to one of Dubai’s most innovative and fast-growing confectionery creations.

This strategic addition reinforces Kreol’s commitment to bringing distinctive, high-quality products to the global travel retail marketplace. Kreol Group expressed equal enthusiasm for the launch by setting up a jumbo-sized activation, adorned with golden palm trees and a photo frame as an ode to the product’s flashy Dubai origins.

Lal Arakulath, CEO of Kreol Group, said, “Our partnership with BMB continues to grow as we introduce innovative, high-quality products to travelers across the region. Kunafa Chocolate has performed exceptionally well in multiple markets, and its debut at Cochin Duty Free aligns perfectly with our mission to offer travelers something unique, memorable, and culturally rich”.

Kreol Arakulath, Executive Director of Kreol Group, added, “We are confident this launch will be warmly received by both Indian consumers and international passengers. What makes us different is the family-size spin on the viral pistachio chocolate trend, so we’ve designed our activation to communicate the large, chunky size of this bar.”

BMB is part of Agthia Group, one of the region’s most prominent and diversified food and beverage companies. With a strong presence across the Middle East, Agthia’s portfolio spans leading brands in snacking, water, beverages, and food essentials.

This backing provides BMB with worldclass manufacturing capabilities, innovation strength, and the scale needed to accelerate its international growth.

The 470g sharing pack is a special travel edition

S Suhas, Managing Director of Cochin International Airport, commented, “Cochin Duty Free has always aimed to offer travelers a curated selection of global products that enhance their journey through our airport. The introduction of BMB’s  Chocolate adds a distinctive Middle Eastern flavor to our retail mix and strengthens our commitment to delivering fresh, high quality offerings. We welcome this collaboration and look forward to seeing strong passenger engagement with this product”.

“We are thrilled to see Kunafa Chocolate reach Indian travelers through Cochin Duty Free,” added Evgenia Papageorgiou, Director of Marketing, Snacking at Agthia Group. “This launch is a meaningful step in our international travel retail journey. India is a priority market, and we couldn’t ask for a better partner than Kreol to bring this product to life. Kunafa Chocolate was built to travel; it carries the soul of a beloved Middle Eastern tradition in a format that speaks to consumers everywhere.”

Crafted in Dubai, BMB’s Kunafa Chocolate is a modern reinterpretation of the Middle East’s iconic kunafa dessert. The product features an ultra-crunchy center layered with premium pistachio and enveloped in smooth milk chocolate. Its sweet, nutty, and buttery flavor profile has made it a standout favorite among travelers seeking authentic yet contemporary indulgences.

The range is available in two formats designed to meet different traveler preferences. The 195g bar is regarded as a perfect personal treat for local snacking, while the 470g sharing pack is ideal for gifting, souvenirs, and group enjoyment. The 195g bar is typically found in gourmet and online channels, and the 470g pack is crafted specifically for duty-free and travel retail environments.
