Vishwanath Iyer appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer at Kreol Group
Vishwanath Iyer has been appointed as Group Chief Operating Officer at Kreol Group, bringing nearly two decades of leadership experience across global travel retail, duty-free operations, commercial strategy, supply chain management, and business transformation. In this leadership role, he will oversee operational excellence, business growth initiatives, strategic expansion, and organizational performance across the group’s diverse business portfolio.
A seasoned business leader, Vishwanath has built a strong track record of driving commercial growth, managing complex P&Ls, strengthening market presence, and leading high-performing teams across Asia, the Middle East, and India. His expertise spans category management, procurement, supply chain optimization, customer engagement, strategic partnerships, and multi-market business leadership.
Prior to this appointment, Vishwanath served as Group Head of Buying – Duty Free at GMR Airports Limited and Head of Buying and Supply Chain at Delhi Duty Free Services, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening buying functions, category performance, and supply chain capabilities. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Beam Suntory, including Country Manager – Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia and Head of Commercial – Southeast Asia Markets, leading commercial growth and market expansion across the region.
Before Beam Suntory, Vishwanath spent nearly a decade with Diageo across multiple leadership positions in travel retail and commercial management, including Regional Sales Account Manager – Middle East & Indian Travel Retail. Earlier in his career, he served as Area Sales Manager at PepsiCo, building a strong foundation in sales leadership, customer management, and business development.
